Honestly speaking, I’ve been into sports since my childhood, and that’s probably why I admire quite a few sports personalities from different fields. But if I had to choose one person I deeply follow, it would be none other than Virat Kohli. He’s an Indian cricketer who’s truly exceptional in his skill.
I first got to know about him when I was in the 10th standard. I had the chance to watch one of his matches live, and he ended up being the man of the match, scoring a century. From that moment, I became a fan.
In terms of his achievements, he’s one of the best batsmen of this era. He’s helped India win major tournaments like the World Cup, the Champions Trophy, and he’s excelled in test matches as well. Just recently, he even led RCB to win the IPL trophy, which was a long-awaited victory.
The main reasons I admire him are his consistency, dedication, and work ethic. He’s incredibly disciplined about fitness and never skips his routine, which is something I personally struggle with. Seeing his dedication always inspires me. That’s why I believe Virat Kohli is one of the best sportspeople of our time.
