Describe an impressive talk/conversation you had that you remember well

Honestly speaking, one impressive conversation that I still remember very clearly was with a close friend of mine who had recently come back from abroad after living there for a few years.

This conversation took place at my home in the evening. He had come over to visit us, and after having tea, we were just sitting comfortably in the living room. The environment was quite relaxed, which made the conversation flow very naturally.

We talked about many things, but the main discussion was about his life abroad—his work culture, lifestyle, struggles, and how living alone in a foreign country changed him as a person. He shared how difficult it was in the beginning, especially adjusting to a new culture and managing everything independently. At the same time, he also spoke about the positive side, like becoming more disciplined, confident, and open-minded.

What impressed me the most was his mature way of thinking. He didn’t just glorify life abroad; instead, he gave a very balanced and realistic perspective. He advised me to focus on self-growth, skill development, and mental strength rather than blindly chasing opportunities.

This conversation really left a strong impact on me because it made me think deeply about my own goals and future plans. Even today, whenever I feel confused about my career or life decisions, I remember that evening and the advice he gave, which still guides me in the right direction.
